Every day, photos and valuable documents are sent by email and in chats, and scattered copies are left that nobody controls. With Facet, they are encrypted on your phone before they leave, reach a single recipient, come back with a signed receipt, and the loose copy is erased with proof.

How it works
Sealed on your phone. Checked before it is erased.
- 01SealYour phone closes the file with your recipient's key before anything leaves it.
- 02SendOnly the sealed envelope travels. The relay that carries it can't read the content, the names or the private keys.
- 03OpenOnly the recipient's device opens it. Any other device is rejected.
- 04Check and eraseThe recipient returns a signed receipt. Only then is the original erased from your device, with proof.

One recipient
Each file is sealed for the device you choose. AXIOMAX is never a recipient and holds no key that opens your files.
Hybrid post-quantum encryption
Protected with hybrid post-quantum encryption: ML-KEM-768 + X25519 (NIST FIPS 203) and ML-DSA-65 + Ed25519 signatures (FIPS 204), with AES-256-GCM.
Signed receipt
The receipt carries two signatures, Ed25519 and ML-DSA-65, and counts only if both verify.
Deletion with proof
The original is erased from your device only after a verified signed receipt. No receipt, nothing is erased.
No password on the server
Your account is a set of keys on your devices. Signing in proves you hold them; the password only locks the key on your device. Your phone and email are both verified when you create the account.
An invisible mark on each copy
Each copy can carry an identifier you can't see, so you know which copy got out. Measured in our lab and not yet built into Facet: it was read back in 97% of copies after messaging-style compression (378 tests).
Your devices, under your controlA 128-bit recovery code, shown once, restores access on a new device. A lost device can be revoked from another one.
Two-key family custodyA document is split into two halves. One half alone reveals nothing: both are needed to open it.
